I live in Kirkland, Washington with my wife Marita, daughter Samantha (16) and our two dogs. I grew up in Gig Harbor Washington where I attended Peninsula H.S. I went on to graduate from Pacific Lutheran University with a BA degree in Business Administration. In 1991, I began my investment career with Dain Bosworth which is now RBC and then moved to US Bancorp Piper Jaffray which is now UBS. I attended the American College for Financial Planning where I received the ChFc designation (Chartered Financial Consultant). I have been with Independent Financial Group, LLC since 2009.
My passion for knowledge and helping people achieve their investment and legacy goals is what drives me. I enjoy helping clients develop an investment strategy that provides the solutions they desire and will meet their financial goals. I also love people and enjoy the relationships I get to have with my clients, living through their ups and downs in life’s long and winding road.
Whether in my profession or personal relationships, I aspire to add value to people’s lives that can be as simple as drawing a chuckle through humor or just listening, understanding, and being empathetic.
My hobbies include golf, snow skiing, cycling and music. I enjoy rooting for the local sports teams: Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, the Kraken and the Sounders as well as University of Washington Football.
